Big Hit at Parties!

I’ve taken these margaritas to so many parties over the years and they are always such a huge hit. Everyone talks about them and remembers how great they were.

So Many Flavor Options!

You can add pureed fruit such as mango, raspberry, or strawberry to them. (I like to strain the seeds.) I prefer my margaritas on the rocks and with a salted rim, even on the fruit versions. Add the puree right to the shaker with the ice. If you prefer a frozen margarita, by all means, use a blender with ice.

Choice of alcohol makes a huge difference!

I always use 100% blue agave tequila. Tequila also comes in three ages,

  • Blanco (also called Plato depending on the brand), this is the youngest tequila and is clear in color.
  • Reposado which is a golden color and aged longer and my favorite choice in tequila. This is where you get some caramel tones to the taste. Finally,
  • Anejo which is aged the longest.

Don’t be fooled just by color! Some tequilas on the market add coloring to their unaged product, so always read the bottle to see what you are getting!
